Launched today on WordPress our first ever free plugin is now live! Earlier this year we developed a AI Live Chat system which integrates with external automation workflows, bringing the best of both worlds, with modularity and customisation of the AI, tools and automation possibilities with a a visually stunning customisable live chat.
Our Plugin, Forerunner® AI Live Chat has been built with modularity in mind. Essentially this plugin works as the framework and chat visual interface on the front end of your website, allowing users to message and interact. Communicating via Webhook, it allows you to link in any of your Webhook based automation workflows, with some straightforward steps, you can tie in this website chat into the very latest AI, Tools and so much more.
By working on our plugin to be a modular interface, allowing you to have a workflow which is tailored to your needs, you are not tied in to any chat bot service or provider, you can use our plugin for free out of the box, pair it with our n8n workflow which you can copy and paste and within a short period of time have an high level AI service chat bot operational within an hour.
What is n8n?
n8n is an automation platform, like Make or Zapier, however it has been our go to for all of this year, revolutionising our automation and AI workflows. You can build AI agents which have access and the ability to use tools, meaning you can get your AI to send an email when you talk to it on the website, send a whatsapp, book an appointment, check diarys, list products and even take payment, the list is endless.
We will be going more in depth into this when we launch our training portal, but if you have any issues with the workflow or getting started please do reach out to us.
n8n is not out of the box free, you can use their service and pay a monthly fee, or if you are a little tech savvy you can host your own n8n instance completely free on your own servers. For our clients we also offer to host, build and manage these workflows, so we can develop custom AI and tool solutions, giving your team access to full AI agents without compromising on one LLM model – you can pick any LLM, our recommendations are ones with Tool usage, such Gemini, Grok, ChatGPT etc, there are also free LLM models you can run as well as run your own local LLM which we also support.
What LLMs are you using?
The beauty of this system is that you can choose and change at any time, you can have the latest GPT model, and when their latest is released, instantly switch it over to that, or have multiple LLMs with targeted functions, we find Gemini to be very good with tool usage as well as Grok and GPT, but it would come down to cost. By using OpenRouter for example you can top up via your account with them and then use any LLM via their platform, which has been our preference whilst developing this system and is included in our free n8n Worfklow, find the link to this at the bottom of this article.
What about booking appointments, sending emails or buying products?
The n8n workflow provided below, paired with our Forerunner® AI Live Chat plugin create the intelligent AI workflow which can be expanded upon endlessly, you can create sub agents, with specific tasks, for example with ours you can ask for a website audit and we have two agents who will get a technical and SEO audit put together for your website address and email this to you at the same time.
Tools allow the LLMs to interact with your services, action tasks and obtain information, you can provide it access to your google drive for example, and list pdfs, which the LLM can use to refer back to to provide a customer with information. Another use we have is to provide the LLM with access to product data, orders for customers as well as live hosting information and support.
Once you have your workflows up and running, it can be endlessly customised to become the most advanced chat function for your business imaginable.

Our free plugin includes everything possible to get you started without restriction, including customisation options and colour customisation. Our pro version expands on this with some customisable messages you can put in the chat window such as “support” “book meeting” or anything you would like.

AI Voice
We have created an add on which includes GPT Realtime and allows you to connect via WebRTC to provide low latency AI voice chat direct on your website with OpenAI currently and we are adding more services to this including Elevenlabs and other WebRTC AI leading voice agents in the future.
