We’re excited to share that Design for Online® has moved into a new office and studio at Stowmarket Innovation Gateway, Gateway 14.
It gives us a new base in Stowmarket, alongside our existing office in Bury St Edmunds, and a space that feels much more suited to where the business is heading.
The new building, operated by Hethel Innovation, has been created as a home for growing and innovative businesses in Suffolk. For us, it means having a proper space where we can work as a team, continue our own growth plans, meet clients, produce content and continue developing the wider range of services we now offer.
Space for the Next Stage
One of the main reasons for taking the new office was that we wanted somewhere that gave us a bit more room to experiment, build and develop new ideas.
Alongside the day-to-day agency work, photography, video and client meetings, part of the space will become our own AI innovation lab, where we can trial practical uses of AI in real business environments. We have recently won a large practical ai application project which will include this as another case study.
There is obviously a huge amount of noise around AI at the moment, but what interests us much more is where it can genuinely save time, improve processes or help businesses do something better.
We want to use the space to test those ideas properly, build working examples and explore how AI can be applied to everyday business problems rather than simply adding AI for the sake of it.
We’re already working on a number of things in this area and are excited to share more as they develop.
Still Proudly Suffolk Based
Design for Online started in Bury St Edmunds in 2016 and Suffolk is still very much our home.
We continue to have our office at Bury St Edmunds, we are moving there too soon! While the new Stowmarket office gives us another base almost directly between many of the businesses we already work with across the county.
Being at Gateway 14 also puts us in an interesting part of Suffolk that is seeing a lot of investment and development.
For a business like ours, which works across web design, SEO, PPC, app development, photography, video and AI automation, it feels like the right place for the next stage.
