On 17 August 2016, I started Design for Online®. Somehow, that was ten years ago today! With a goal of offering multiple services to local and national businesses, using my data analytics background as a base to drive real growth.
We started in Bury St Edmunds and now ten years later, we are still proudly based here in Suffolk. We still have our home in Bury St Edmunds (new location coming!) , and this month we have also moved into our new office and studio at the Stowmarket Innovation Gateway at Gateway 14.
It feels like a pretty fitting way to mark ten years.
Over that time we have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of businesses, from small independent companies through to much larger organisations, both here in Suffolk and across the UK.
Some of the work I am most proud of has been right on our doorstep. We have worked with businesses including Rougham Estate and Charterhouse Mobility here in Suffolk, alongside companies such as Cyted Health in Cambridge, who we have watched grow considerably since we first started working with them on photography and video.
We have also built some great relationships with other agencies and freelancers along the way and started our photo and video studio ned.studio. We are a small growing in house team with excellent partnerships. Having good people around us has been a massive part of how the business has grown.
The business itself looks quite different to the one I started in 2016.
Web design and SEO are still a huge part of what we do, but today that also includes PPC, app development, hosting, photography and video, AI automation and building some of our own technology, including Forerunner® our suite of AI tools which have proved extremely popular with clients around the world with our free and paid wordpress plugins now in operation on over 2,000 websites worldwide!
A lot of that has simply come from listening to what our clients need and building the business around it, having previously worked for a High Net Worth sales team in Dublin, spanning multiple business areas throughout Ireland & the UK, we had to bridge that gap with all services, this is what I continuously develop.
Our new Stowmarket office gives us more room to work, meet clients, produce content and continue building the next part of Design for Online®.
