Overview
We manage a portfolio of WordPress sites, and building our own tooling gave us exactly what we needed at a price that works at scale. Once each tool proved itself in daily use we made it available to other businesses and agencies facing the same requirements.
Here is the full range, ordered by what customers buy most, with pricing and a link to each product page:
- Forerunner® ChatKit for OpenAI, from £45 a year. Our most popular plugin. Deploy Agent Builder workflows to WordPress with a shortcode or floating widget. £45 covers one site, £85 covers three and £179 covers up to fifteen.
- Forerunner® Review Widget, free to start. Google and Etsy reviews with AI summaries and schema markup for star ratings in search. Free for one widget, Pro at £7 a month for five, and Agency at £12 a month for unlimited client widgets.
- Forerunner® AI Live Chat Pro, £125 a year. Secure webhook routing, human escalation, analytics and a real-time voice add-on. The free version is on WordPress.org if you would rather start there.
- Forerunner® WordPress AI Assistant and Multi-Site Manager, £850 one-off. Manage an entire network through natural language, built on MCP and WP-CLI. The licence is lifetime and covers unlimited client sites.
- Forerunner® SEO. Weekly on-page optimisation alongside Yoast or Rank Math, included within our SEO packages from £185 a month.
You are welcome to buy any of them and run them yourself, which is what most of our customers do. Where you would like a tool configured properly against your systems and content, that is available as a separate service and each product page sets out what it involves.

Forerunner® AI Live Chat Pro

Step 1: Try It on Your Site
Every product has a free tier or a trial route, so you can see how it works on your own site before spending anything.
Step 2: Buy and Install
Buy the licence and install it yourself. The documentation covers setup, and the free versions share the same codebase as the paid ones.
Step 3: Configure It, or Ask Us
Where you would like it configured against your own systems, content and tone of voice, we offer that as a service through the relevant service page.
Step 4: Updates as We Develop
Licences include updates as we develop each tool, so your installation keeps pace as new capabilities arrive.

What do the Forerunner® tools cost?
Paid plans start at £7 a month for the Review Widget. Forerunner® AI Live Chat Pro is £125 a year, ChatKit runs from £45 a year for a single site up to £179 for fifteen, and the WordPress AI Assistant is £850 as a one-off lifetime licence. Forerunner® SEO is included within our SEO packages from £185 a month.
Is there a free version we can try?
Yes. Forerunner® AI Live Chat has a free version on WordPress.org that gives you AI chat on your site straight away, and the Review Widget has a free tier covering one widget. Both are the same codebase as the paid versions rather than cut-down demos.
Do we need you to use them?
Not at all. They are ordinary WordPress plugins with documentation, and most customers install and run them independently. Configuration against your own systems is available as a service where you would find it useful.
Are these actually in use?
Yes, every one of them. Forerunner® AI Live Chat alone has been downloaded thousands of times and runs on client sites including Ivy Cruz, Dr Azoo, Greens Removals and JS Global, alongside our own. That daily use is how we know they hold up.
Which one should we start with?
The free Live Chat plugin is the easiest place to begin, because it costs nothing and shows you quickly how the approach works on your site. Where you manage a number of WordPress installations, the AI Assistant delivers the most time back, and agencies tend to start with the ChatKit or Review Widget agency tiers.
Are these subscriptions or one-off purchases?
The WordPress AI Assistant is a one-off £850 with a lifetime licence and free updates. The others are annual or monthly subscriptions, and the plugins continue working after a subscription ends, with updates and new features requiring renewal.
